D.C. (Dist. of Criminals), February 12, 2025 — Representative Brandon Gill delivered a scathing rebuke of unchecked government spending, accusing the Democratic Party of weaponizing the administrative state while ignoring trillions in waste, fraud, and abuse.
Speaking on the House floor, Gill revealed $2.7 trillion in improper payments since 2003, calling it potentially the largest money laundering scandal in American history.

“The Democrat Party has for decades systematically grown and weaponized the administrative state against the American people. And the American people have had enough of it,” Gill stated.
He criticized Democrats for showing no concern over where trillions of taxpayer dollars have gone, questioning whether they genuinely don’t know or simply don’t care.
“So much of the waste, fraud, and abuse of our federal government is actually funding their side of the aisle,” Gill added. “It’s funding media outlets like NPR, PBS, BBC, Politico—outlets that routinely run cover for Democrats. It’s funding left-wing NGOs that are facilitating the invasion of our country. It is going to fund left-wing transgender activism and sex changes all over the globe.”

Gill also blasted Democrats for their hypocrisy, pointing out that they were silent for years as unelected bureaucrats controlled the border, refused to enforce immigration laws, and funneled taxpayer money into radical policies.
“For years, unelected officials had total control over the southern border,” he said. “They ignored court orders, released millions of illegal immigrants into the country, and even coordinated with left-wing NGOs to facilitate the invasion. And the Democrats didn’t say a word.”
Yet now, those same Democrats are suddenly outraged when President Donald Trump’s Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) steps in to investigate government waste and take back control of taxpayer money.
The Path Forward: Investigations & Accountability
Gill emphasized that rooting out corruption is not a partisan issue and urged lawmakers to take waste, fraud, and abuse seriously.
“This is money that’s been taken from the American people and used against their interests,” Gill said. “If we’re serious about transparency and accountability, we need to be serious about stopping this.”
With Trump’s administration pushing to expose and dismantle wasteful government programs, lawmakers like Gill are demanding answers, setting the stage for major investigations into how taxpayer money has been misused.
