(Dist. of Criminals), November 3, 2025 — Former FBI agent Kyle Seraphin dropped a political bombshell today, claiming that Director of National Intelligence Kash Patel secretly accepted a $5 million payment tied to a Chinese-owned shell company in the Cayman Islands — the same company that manages the fast-fashion giant Shein, long accused of intellectual property theft and Chinese government ties.
Speaking in a whistleblower broadcast, Seraphin alleged Patel “changed his tune overnight” after the payout, abandoning his promises to “gut the Deep State” and “restore transparency” in favor of protecting entrenched FBI bureaucrats.

According to Seraphin, Wired Magazine first published the connection earlier this year, reporting that a Cayman-based shell corporation controlling Shein had issued Patel a $5 million equity payment under the label of “consulting and strategic advisory services.”
Seraphin questions what “consulting” Patel could have provided to a foreign fashion firm accused of ripping off American brands and data mining U.S. consumers.
“Why would a Chinese fashion company pay the head of U.S. intelligence $5 million?” Seraphin asked. “He didn’t earn that for stitching sweaters.”
